Brownswood ARE ONE PARTY AT THE END

a few words about our big Saturday night throw down on the 13th.its been some time since I last threw a party at The End which I  consider to be one of London'smost consistent and music minded clubs. I find that clubs run by true  music heads are a rarity these days,so to return to what Marky and Laurent Garnier consider to be the  best club in London is a must for me.its also a sort of !st birthday of my Brownswood record label - and  with the music industry in the confused shape its been inwe definately deserve to celebrate surviving 12 months! we've had  some success with Ben Westbeech who apartfrom tearing up most festivals this summer, has also built up a bit  of a rep with his Dj sets - so he's gonna drop aguest mix alongside the brilliant Simbad (who's debut album drops on  Raw Fusion any day), Ross Allen - the original'eclectro' dj mixing up dubstep/northern/electronic/hip hop in a jazz  style as opposed to jazzy style - ask him! and we've alsogot Thristian making his brownswood debut at the End - one to watch  out for. that's the side room! meanwhile in the mainspace I'm getting my tunes ready already for at least a 4 hour set -  just got back from South Africa and Japan where I picked up some gems todrop before introducing a very one off 'Moodyman' selection - proper  exclusive from Detroit's finest and my favourite South Germangrape picker - the mighty fine and always maturing mister Rainer  Truby - very much needed back in the capital - always a journey! Its been a while since I played and presented a big london Saturday  night party  -  to be honest I can't wait to turn the volume up  and   drop someSoil and Pimp next to some Fela next to that mighty 'Nights' tune by  Benga and Coki!hold tight people!

Just had to big up Brownswood following the K-Swiss session in Amsterdam last saturday, unbelievable talent, Jose James, Elan Mehler, Steve Lyman and the Soil & Pimp boys were outstanding, huge respect to Gilles and Brownswood for making the event happen, just amazing!! :D
